PASTORAL COUNSELORS
  • Are certified/licensed mental health professionals
  • Work with people of all beliefs
  • Address spiritual issues at client request
  • Refer for medical consultation and medication, if needed
  • Maintain client confidentiality
LENGTH/FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS AND FEES
  • Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes
  • Usually once a week, however frequency varied based on individual need.
  • Average number of sessions is about 8 - 20 over a period of 6 months to a year
  • Sliding scale based on income

    • Receipts Provided
  • Limited funds are available for client assistance
  • The prevailing ethic of Pastoral Counseling is to provide services for everyone, regardless of ability to pay
